400 Multiservice Edge Routers (MSER)
 SmartEdge ® 400/800 Multiservice Edge Routers (MSER) deliver Triple-Play services encompassing video,
voice, data and interactive content delivery.
The SmartEdge MSER family unifies three sets of functionality
into a single, multi-functional platform including edge routing,
Ethernet aggregation, and subscriber management.
The SmartEdge MSER enables massive scale–both
physically and logically–to support tens of thousands of users
and sessions. The SmartEdge800 MSER delivers up to 240 Gbps of
throughput with a sustained packet processing capacity of 432
Mpps, and. 80Gbps of throughput
with a sustained packet processing capacity of 84 Mpps.
SmartEdge400/800 MSERs offer a diverse range of interface
options, including Ethernet, ATM, Packet over SONET (PoS) and
channelized connections.
