Redback’s SMS 1800 give service providers
the ability to aggregate and manage thousands of broadband
subscribers. Deployed at service providers' points of presence (POPs),
the SMS 1800 series provides: broadband subscriber traffic from
layer-1 and layer-2 network-access-equipment such as DSL access
multiplexers (DSLAMs), cable modem termination systems (CMTS),
and wireless access-points, and delivers IP subscriber traffic
to providers' backbone routers.
